Rajah Putri Kudarat is the name of the lady pictured with her entourage. She was married to Otto Anwarodin, who himself bore the title “Datu sa Sapakan”. Rajah Putri Kudarat was also known as “Bai a labi sa Maguindanao”, a title which roughly translates to “First lady of the Maguindanao”. Her brother was Hijaban Mastura Kudarat III, the 23rd Sultan of Maguindanao.

It’s “Afdal.” His shrine lies at the central town of Dulawan.

Rajah Putri was the widow of Sultan Jalalludin Pablo, known as Sultan Wata, the 20th Sultan of Maguindanao.
It is sad to note that only few photos, comments about history of the Maguindanao Sultanate are here. Others want to show only their lineage. There are lots of the previous Sultans, Like Sultan Esmael Kalog, Sultan Mangigin, Sultan Buisan, Sultan Makakua, Sultan Kawasa Anwar Uddin and etc. who in one way or another deserved to be mentioned! Especially also of that of Sultan Kudarat who was a great defender of Islam and never played a puppet role during his time to the invaders. That’s maybe one reason why he did not have much photos taken with the enemies of Islam.
I only posted pics that are available from the net. I have no time to go to libraries and do a deeper research. site visitors are always welcome to contribute.
